Since 1990, the LRTF has awarded more than $12 million for over 1100 projects across the state of Iowa. To take a look at past projects, and learn more about the types of projects funded by the LRTF, begin by choosing a county or entity from the list on the right.

In addition to projects funded directly by the Living Roadway Trust Fund, LRTF funds have been used to leverage over $6.8 million for community and county projects across the state:

In its partnership with Trees Forever, the LRTF has helped fund 340 Iowa community landscaping projects, in 213 communities and counties, totaling $4 million and generating local matches of $2.6 million.

Through its funding of Iowa's county IRVM program office, the LRTF has helped procure nearly $2.8 million in federal Transportation Enhancement (TE) funds for seeding projects along 10,000 acres of county roadside rights-of-way.
